The annual list of Forbes highest paid television actresses was released yesterday and we saw no change in the first position just like last six years. On the top position, Sofia Vergara is marking her position from last six years with $41.5 million before fees and taxes this year. From her well-paid endorsements agreements with Pepsi, Head & Shoulders, Covergirl, her work on Modern Family and her perfume range with Avon, all add up to her earnings.
On the second spot, the Big Bang Theory star, Kaley Cuoco marked her presence with earnings of $26 million. Although according to sources, she makes $1 million per episode which is more than double Sofia’s paycheck of Modern Family Cuoco does less of endorsements. Moreover, the actress took a pay cut this year so that the other cast could be paid more.
Mindy Kaling of The Mindy Project and Ellen Pompeo of Grey’s Anatomy joined in third place with earnings of $13 million. Priyanka Chopra the ‘consistent money maker’, “takes the advantage of her worldwide appeal,” states the Forbes report, marked 8th position in the list. After staring in ABC’s Quantico, she became the household name in the west. She also released her debut Hollywood movie, Baywatch.
