PARENTS

Mom and dad, our birth givers, our parents. We think they will always be there. We feel they are so basic, like they are never going anywhere. We consider them the most underrated people in our lives.
Respect them if you can’t love them because we can’t force ourselves to love someone. Respect them as they are not going to be there always. They are the reason that you are reading this today. Whatever internet or laptop you have right now is because of them. They gave you this. They pay for your primary education. They gave you birth.
Respect them because you are because of them. You are alive because of them. You owe them that much that you have to respect them. Respect them before it’s too late. Because one day, either they will leave you or you will leave them. Forever!

You will crave one day to hear your dad’s voice, his words, his compliments, complaints, his anger, everything. You may not feel it as a big deal now but you will feel it that day when he will be not around. When you will never hear him again. When you will never get a chance to talk to him regarding your work, your life. I know its not a big deal for you now.
You will never get the taste of your mom’s handmade food anywhere in the world. You may go many fancy restaurants but there is no food like one’s mom food. Nobody will guide you like her. Nobody will pick up your things and clean them for you like she do. Always with a smile.
You may have many people in your life and you may like to travel and meet new people but there’s no one like parents and there is no place like home.

Unlike your friends, your parents will never bitch about you or will never backstab you. They will always lift you up and will never try to pull you down. They will always want your best in life.
Yes, they are difficult at times, when we don’t understand them and they don’t understand us but its ok. Work upon it, you are family.
They might not always solve your problem but they are there for you, always. They will be present through all your thick and thins without any promise. They will rarely show their love but they love you always.

Respect them, you owe them, your existence. Make sure you are thankful to them without saying thank you daily. Respect them, love them, they deserve it.
