Luv Ranjhan brought a new subject in 2011 which exhibited the ado of men when they come into a relationship. The newness of the storyline enamored a class of audience and also achieved decent success on box office. And now after four years, the director is back with its sequel. Omkar Kapoor and Sunny Singh are the two new add-ons, rest cast is same to its prequel
Initial 15 minutes of the flick is bit slow, but later power punch and quirky dialogues hold a grip on you. It’s prequel touted most of the issues faced by men when they slip into a relationship and how they overcome it, especially their frustrated emotions which they divulge in their witty and faultfinding dialogues. This time to entertain you more, Luv has included various fresh takes, which are really going to surprise you and tickle your funny bone. Another change from its trailblazer is steam scenes which are quite bold in the near end of the first half.
Talking about the performance, Kartik again steals the show. The quirky dialogues of the movie keep a hold on audiences and the way he delivers them is just perfect. You are really going to laugh hilariously when he elicits his frustration. Nushrat again has scintillated the show with her too sweet to handle girlfriend aspect. Family inclined Sonali and money notched Ishita are above average. After Kartik and Nushrat, it’s Omkar who left a mark on the audience with his crisp dialogue delivery and indulges you in every scene of his.
Undoubtedly, it’s a better version and the best release of this weekend. If you are a love-trailed couple then it’s the best you can go for this weekend. You’ll get definitely indulged in its crispy dialogues, nicely elicited by the young cast.
VERDICT: The theme of Pyar ka Punchnama 2 is same to its 2011 prequel, with more spice of seduction and scoring better than its prequel in all aspects. So, don’t miss out the rom-com. Will be all fun!!!
