Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol return to the big screen with Poster boys this Friday. It’s not one of their Yamla Pagla Deewana films and they share the screen space with Shreyas Talpade in Poster Boys. Poster Boys his directorial debut and a remake of his Marathi film Poshter Boyz.
The film revolves around three men living somewhere in Haryana who accidentally become the poster boys of a vasectomy ‘nasbandi’ campaign. The topic which is considered as a taboo in the country has created a lot of attention towards the film. The film is focused on the problem of population explosion and how the desire of having a son is leading us nowhere.
The film is filled with silly humor which is not that humorous. Both the Deols and Shreyas, somehow managed with ridiculous comedy at times. The comic timing of the movie was not as good as we thought. What lacks in the movie is the sense of direction, and as Shreyas Talpade debuts his direction with ‘Poster Boys’, we know he has much to learn about film-making.
The film is 131 minutes long in duration. And we would suggest, not to watch the movie if your mind is already preoccupied.
