Even though the market is filled with instant glow beauty products, it is always advisable to avoid chemicals for the skin as they can damage your skin in the early age. Our skin is becoming more prone to acne, skin problems and pigmentation as we are not living a healthy lifestyle. So it is always recommended to use natural ingredients for a long-lasting glow.
Let’s start off with-
For oily skins, we often use tomato to make homemade masks as it is a natural antioxidant. It helps in fighting with blackheads, pimples, and acne and improves the skin. Tomatoes make an effective mask for oily skins.
- 1 squished tomato
- Few drops of lemon
- Dried lemon peel powder, ½ spoon
Mix the 3 ingredients and apply it to the face and neck. Let it dry and wash in 10 minutes with lukewarm water.
If you want a flawless skin, oatmeal mask it is. It removes the dead skin cells when mixed well with milk. It adds moisture to the skin and enhances it. After this pack, your skin will feel light and fresh.
- Oatmeal, ½ spoon
- Water and milk in equal quantity.
Keep the mixture for some time after mixing it properly. Apply on your neck and face, leave it for 15 minutes and wash with chilled water.
Potato, the most popular vegetable have so many beauty benefits that you may not know. It reduces tan and age spots and brings natural glow. Use this mask to feel fresh and clear skin.
- Smashed potato, 1 spoon.
- Curd, ½ spoon
Mix ingredients properly and apply to the face and neck. Wash with cold water after 15-20 mins.
Turmeric is one of the best ingredients for skin care. It deep cleanses the pores and fights with acne, tan, smoothen wrinkles and lightens skin.
- Turmeric powder, ¼ tablespoon
- Coconut oil, 1 spoon
Mix the ingredients and massage it gently over the face and neck. Remove it after 25 minutes with lukewarm water.
Carrot mask is helpful for people with oily skin as it soaks extra oil that our skin produces.
- Fresh carrots, 2
- Honey ½ tablespoon
Grind the carrot and mix its juice with honey and apply it all over your face and neck. Dry it and wash after 15 minutes with cold water.
